Accounts Payable Specialist

Title - Account Payable Specialist

Location - In office role, Schaumburg 60173

Pay - 22 to 25 an hour based on prior experience

In Office; M-F 8am-4:30am

Duties
- Process accounts payable and timely payments
- Reconcile client statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Prepare and analyze various financial reports as needed
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related role
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
