Job description

Job Summary

The ABA Associate Director operates within the agency's vision, mission, and philosophy, while adhering to the policies of the agency and Neurodevelopmental Services Program (NDS). This role is responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative operations, financial sustainability, and regional delivery of ABA programs. The Associate Director ensures effective daily program implementation, collaborates with external partners, and maintains relationships with insurance payors, educational agencies, and county departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead clinical and administrative operations for ABA programs, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Supervise program leaders to maintain quality standards and implement best practices.
  • Assist in the creation and oversight of program budgets.
  • Establish milestones to monitor and measure progress effectively.
  • Develop, coordinate, and oversee staff training initiatives.
  • Assess, evaluate, and manage program risks.
  • Act as a representative of the agency to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support department or business objectives.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with intermediate to advanced capabilities.

  • Operational expertise in setting and achieving long- and short-term goals within contractual and budgetary limits.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Child Development, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of clinical experience working with children diagnosed with neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Minimum of two (2) years managing leaders or supervisors in ABA programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual english and Spanish

Licensing/Certification Requirements

  • California licensure in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or another approved service delivery field, OR
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Schedule

Monday-Friday between the hours 9:00am - 5:30pm or 9:00am - 6:00pm

Salary Range

$89,302.51-$109,830.83

8% License Differential for BCBA, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications.
