Job description

Full Time Authorization Coordinator / Patient Service Representative

Weekly Pay, Benefits, and PTO

Remote- Work from Home

Overview

  • Mostly imaging, radiology, PT referrals and prior-authorizations
    • Not going to be thrown into complex services in the beginning/training
  • Access work queue they are assigned to (EPIC and daily appointment report)
  • Any follow up on authorizations from previous day
  • Initiate new auths
  • Manage inbox of questions (outside referral requests)
  • Daily expectations - sort work queue (authorizations, referrals, tracking auths)
  • "Level load" with the rest of the team - if your queues are cleared then work on teammates
  • KPIs = 15-30 auths/day depending on complexity. Going to be closer to 30 once they are up and running but could be as low as 15 if they are on more complex services (immunotherapy...etc.)

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

  • Referral experience - initiating, creating and tracking referrals 2-3+ years
  • OneHealth Port, AIM Portal experience 2-3+ years
  • Strong insurance terminology

Nice to Have Skills

  • EPIC experience

Interview Availability

  • 30-minute virtual interview with Pria and maybe the manager, Tiffany. Going to be very conversational and not super technical

Schedule/Shift

  • M-F 730A-4P
  • Hybrid: will start onsite for training and then after 30 days (potentially as short as 2 weeks, depending on experience and how quickly they learn their systems) they will move to work REMOTELY
