Job description

The Patient Care Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Answering and managing a high volume of inbound/outbound calls in a polite and timely manner.

  • Communicate with patients and teammates, in a courteous, professional, cooperative & mature manner.

  • Routinely demonstrate superior customer service skills.

  • Promptly answering emails and online chats messages.

  • Scheduling appointments using computerized scheduling systems.

  • Effectively use computerized scheduling system to document patient records using proper English grammar, spelling, and syntax.

  • Resolve patient issues and consistently meet or exceed patient's service expectations.

  • Maintain accurate patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal/financial/insurance information.

  • New patient registration, healthcare insurance verification and scheduling.

  • Meet performance goals established for the position in the areas including but not limited to: efficiency, call quality, attendance, calls per day, patient satisfaction.
