Medical Assistant - Primary Care Clinic
Job description
Medix is hiring a Medical Assistant for a clinic in Carmel, IN. Full time, M-F between the hours of 7:15am-5pm. No weekends or holidays! Pays $19-22/hr depending on experience and benefits! A great opportunity to work within one of the area's top Primary Cares!
Medical Assistant Certifications / Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
- Minimum 6 months experience; 1 year experience preferred
- BLS Certification
- RMA/CMA/CCMA preferred
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Rooming, vitals and patient intake
- Administering vaccinations/injections
- Assist provider with minor procedures
- Spirometry, EKGs and point of care testing
