Job Title: Medical Assistant

Pay Rate: $20-25/hr
Location(s): Greenwich, Stamford, CT or Wilton, CT

(Schedule is released in advance with different locations, only last minute float requests would be due to a call out/emergency, typically they float an average of once a week).

-Home base is Greenwich with floating to Stamford

-Home base is Stamford with floating to Greenwich

-Home base is Wilton with floating to Stamford

-Home base is Stamford with floating to Wilton

Hours: M-F 8-5:00pm (no evenings, no weekends) - slight flexibility to stay till 530 on a rare occasion if they are behind with patients

Overview:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, documenting medical history / chief complaints, collecting vitals if necessary, communicating follow-up information with patient and provider, and otherwise generally assisting the provider within the MA scope of practice. Candidates must have exceptional customer service skills, a positive communication style and the ability to problem-solve effectively. Multi-tasking with a high degree of accuracy is essential to providing safe, high quality patient care.

Training - Training is in Greenwich for about 2-3 weeks

Requirements

• Great communication skills
• MA experience (1-2 years of recent experience)
• School diploma in medical assisting (highly preferred)
• National certification in medical assisting (preferred)
