Medical Assistant
Job description
Overview:
- Triage patients
- Blood draws
- New patient consults & follow ups
- Prepping patient rooms for procedures or exams
- Educate patients on process + next steps
- Following up on lab results, etc.
- Coordination in EMR - contacting and communicating w/ patients through portal and sending follow up reminders with providers notes and info
- Pre-charting processes to be implemented
- Will be trained on 'retrievals and transfers'
- Other clinical and administrative duties as necessary
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 8a - 5p
- Friday 8a - 2p
