We are currently hiring for a Dental Patient Access Specialist to join our dynamic team at a federally qualified health center in Swissvale, PA. If you are passionate about providing quality care, promoting dental health, and ensuring the smooth flow of patients through their oral health appointments, we want to hear from you!

Position Summary:

As a Dental Patient Access Specialist, you will play a vital role in making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. You'll handle patient scheduling and registration, greet patients professionally, and manage communication via phone and voicemail. Your commitment to maintaining patient records, verifying insurance information, and coordinating with the clinical dental staff will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our dental services.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedure codes
  • Certification in Office Practice or enrollment in such a program is desired
  • COVID vaccinated

Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedure codes
