Dental Assistant
Job description
Seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join an incredible team in their Akron location.
This is an organization that believes in providing quality, primary care that is accessible to all!
Schedule:
- Mon: 8AM-Noon, or Noon-4PM (Dentist is off on Monday, DA's come in for a half day & do admin work / prepare clinic for the week)
- Tues-Fri: 8AM-430PM
- Will be getting 40 hours & allowed to work OT
Pay: 17 - 21.00 Per hour Plus PTO,Medical,Vision,Dental Benefits
Role Overview:
- Start by reviewing the patient load scheduled for the day, prep work.
- Call patient back from lobby & begin rooming, gather dental history -vitals
- Take patient back to get x-rays
- Shadow Dentist during exam - Assist documentation
- Will be doing bite molds / impressions for night guards/crowns/dentures
- Can expect 20-30 patients/day to start
- Minimal phone work, may help cover at the Front Desk at times
Requirements:
- Completion of Dental Assistant Program & holds X-ray certification in Ohio
- CPR/BLS certified
- 6 months experience
