Hours: Different shifts based on openings: Sun, Mon, Tues 7am-7pm shift (Additional Openings: Fri/Sat/Sun 7p-7a OR Fri/Sat/Sun 11a-11p OR M-F Evenings (Flex) OR M-F 11p-7a)

Job Title: CT Technologist

Pay: $37-52/hr based on experience

Available Location(s): Newton, MA

Overview:

• Knowledge of radiographic positioning and radiographic equipment
• Knowledge of anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, medical terminology.
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written.
• Maintains a high standard of professionalism at all times.
• Operates all equipment according to appropriate operating manuals and department policies and procedures
• Demonstrates knowledge and proper utilization of all imaging support equipment
• Obtains pertinent history verbally and/or from patient chart or requisition
• Maintains patient safety at all time while in department
• Assures adequate supervision and assistance when necessary, does not leave patient alone on table
• Operates EMR systems accurately and completely, avoiding documentation error
• Operates pressure injector accurately and safely
• Participates in continuing education programs as dictated by Joint Commission, MA licensing board and hospital/department policy.
• Adheres to "Code of Ethics " for radiologic technologists as defined by ARRT.

Requirements:

• ARRT
• Licensed by the State of Mass Radiation Control Board
• CPR certified
• Minimum of 1-year Radiology experience- required
