Job description

We are hiring for a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team in the Glen Burnie, MD area. We are seeking candidates who are a team player, organized, and someone who is both reliable and responsible.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm + 1 evening per week 10:30am-7:00pm

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Pay: $18-22/hr

Available Location(s): Glen Burnie, MD

Overview

  • Perform vital sign assessments
  • Conduct Point-of-Care (POC) testing
  • Engage in patient outreach activities
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Document patient interactions accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Assist patients in various medical specialties including Family Medicine, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease, and HIV care
  • Pre-visit planning including following up on referrals, reviewing consult notes in the system, and coordinating with other healthcare offices for patient health records

Requirements:

  • 1+ year(s) RECENT experience in Medical Assisting - can be open to lesser experience if the right fit
  • Medical Assistant school diploma - REQUIRED
  • Medical Assisting national certification - REQUIRED
