Certified Medical Assistant - CMA
Job description
Medix is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a primary care clinic in Garland, TX! Full time, M-F, 8a-5p. Pays $18-22/hr depending on experience and benefits! A great opportunity to work within one of the area's top Primary Cares!
Certified Medical Assistant Certifications / Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- BLS Certification
- RMA/CMA/CCMA required
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking required
Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Rooming, vitals and patient intake
- Administering vaccinations/injections
- Assist provider with minor procedures
- Spirometry, EKGs and point of care testing
- Answering phones, checking in patients and collecting copays
