Job description

  • Triage the patients
  • Send orders for the provider's signature
  • Prepare collected specimens for transport to the routing laboratory
  • Turn over exam rooms
  • Cleaning and disinfecting between patients
  • Perform point of care testing; such as urine pregnancy tests, urinalysis and guaiac testing.
  • Assist with minor office procedures; such as IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, In office hysteroscopy (Endosee)/endometrial biopsy, colposcopy and LEEP procedures.
  • Perform all of the duties required of our MAs.
  • Support busy OBGYN clinic
  • Taking vitals
  • Urine dips
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Injections and vaccinations
  • Assist with surgical procedures (putting in/taking out IUDs, Colposcopy )
  • Seeing around 20 patients a day, need to be comfortable taking manual vitals (knowing what cuff to put on for the size patient if the automatic isn't working)
