Job description

We are hiring for call center representative to join our team in the Melville, NY area. Do not apply to this position if you are not able to commute to Melville, NY-- it is a requirement for the training period. Job Title: Call Center Scheduler

Pay Rate: $20-24/hr
Available Location(s): Melville, NY/remote

Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm - some opportunities for over time

Job type: Contract to hire

Job Description

  • Processing all aspects of scheduling patients for 7 different facilities
  • Call volume is 50-70 call per day
  • Insurance verification
  • Receive incoming live calls
  • Triage appointments for phone/ reception staff looking for appropriate patient appointments
  • Throughout the day retrieve phone messages left on the lines

Job qualifications include:

  • 1+ year(s) call center experience in a healthcare facility (required)
  • 1+ year(s) Customer Service experience (required)
  • 1+ year(s) medical secretary/admin/patient access experience (required)
  • Medical terminology knowledge (required)
  • EPIC experience (required)
  • High school diploma (required)
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (highly preferred)
